Joel Huntley and his wife Deb operate the Huntley Pottery Studios in Wisconsin. Joel's fanciful handmade, handthrown redware and stoneware pottery designs have been very popular with pottery fans, from his signature ugly face pots and mugs, to his magical iridescent rainbow pastel drip glazes. This gorgeous lidded bowl was created in 1990, it is signed and dated by the artist. It is in perfect condition, no chips or cracks. It has a "shark fin"-look finial as a handle for the lid, which gives it an organic, brutalist look, but the lovely pastel store colors soften the effect and make this a perfect statement piece for any style decor. A beautiful piece, brought to you by a great American ceramics master, with a playful heart! 9" tall from base to top of handle, and 9" wide at widest point.
