This is a beautifully made jewelry box created by someone who loves their craft and has a fine appreciation of wood. I am not an expert on wood but this box was acquired on the west coast so I would guess the main body of the box is edge grain fir with an edge grain cedar bottom. The light banding is probably maple, the dark band I am not sure about. The finish is smooth and glossy. Two sections on the interior and felt lined. store
The box measures 24 cm x 16 cm x 7.4 cm (approx. 9.45”x 6.3”x 2.9”). It has some minute marks (and I do mean minute) marks on the top, otherwise in beautiful unused condition.
