Vintage Adelina Pedro Martínez barro negro hand-carved ceramic sculpture, features a funeral figure, glossy finish in black, signed on the bottom.

Adelina Pedro Martínez was born in San Bartolo Coyotepec, in the valley of Oaxaca, located eight store kilometers from the city of Oaxaca. She is of Zapotec decent and her barro negro art represents her indigenous identity. She speaks Spanish as well as the native language of her ancestors.

In very good vintage condition with some minimal wear.
