Product code: Revolutionary War Chess set Boston, store Attack of Bunker a Hill 1775
This is a very beautiful displayed Chess Set. The Chessboard reads "Plan of the Town and environs of Boston, with the Attack on Bunkers Hill in the Peninsula of Charlestown, the 17th of June 1775". Board has a nice wood frame with a beveled edge and has the map laid out of the time period described. Comes complete with all the chess pieces which are made out of resin and have felt bottoms. The board shows some light wear on the corners and some surface markings on store the underside. One of the cannon pieces is missing a wheel. Please see photos. Board Measures: 19"l X 19"w X 2"h Tallest piece measures: 4.5"h Smallest piece measures: 2 7/8"h not a perfect board.... but definitely still a great set in good condition. Do not have original box... but will be packed with care.
