store "Arctic Idyll, Abisko Sweden" - The north of Sweden can be a desolate place with wide open vistas stretching to the horizon. This original painting in Abisko, a small hamlet 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, shows the view from a small hill and includes a storage outbuilding. When visited in November 2019, the sun made fleeting appearances each day creating a soft light which could create unusual cloud colours.
