Ceramic heads sculpture, can be hang on the wall(nose on nail) or be used as a paper weight on your desk office. It was Raku fired,one is Naked Raku! Each side of the head is different so you have 2 options!!!
It's made in a low-firing manner called RAKU, which has its origin in Japan during the 16th century.

The glazed parts are burned at about 1000 °C into a wood or gas-fired kiln. Afterwards it's removed red hot and cooled quickly.
This process generates small cracks within the glaze so-called “crackles” which will become dark after smoking into
sawdust and lend the pottery its typical optics.

Due to the random controlled RAKU firing process unique surfaces can be generated.
Part of the surface is naked raku which means that part of the glaze is off, this is what give its unique look.

Every piece is one off, individual and unique.
