It's 2300 A.D and Chrono's party has set out to ascend Death Peak. They don't have much time but they plan to use the Chrono Trigger to revive their fallen friend. The Time Egg shatters! It must have been from the solar eclipse! Sending clone Chrono and his friends to the Ocean Palace. A frozen space in time some would say, It was here they were able to exchange the clone for the real Chrono. Shortly after the eclipse passed, Chrono awakes and is stunned to see his friends surrounding him.
