Twelve Piece store Antique Silver and Abalone Hors D'oeuvers Set

Wonderful old set of twelve handmade Sterling silver and Abalone Hors D'oeuvres toothpicks. Not store sure if people still use these at small social gatherings but they are just beautifully made and definitely from a bygone era in hostessing a cocktail party. Probably hand made in Mexico from the 50's or 60's, excellent condition. No marks on the silver stems,if not sterling then they are heavy plate. These measure 4" long x 1/2" at the top abalone circle. The Abalone shell used has wonderful iridescent colors like the south sea pearl shells men brought back from WWII. A real collector's item.
