This stunning leaf by Forever Leaves has been individually cast in concrete from a real leaf. It has been hand painted and sealed with a high quality, high gloss, concrete sealer, so it is very durable whether used inside or out in your garden. Subtle, metallic highlights have also been added to enhance the leaf's depth. These highlights will be more pronounced, and will actually shimmer, when hit by sunlight. My LS (Linda Stanke) signature mark can be found on the back.

CARE FOR YOUR LEAF:
You can clean your leaf gently with soap and water.

If the leaf is to be used outdoors, be sure to bring it inside for the winter where it will not freeze. The leaves can be cleaned with a mild detergent and toothbrush if needed. Apply 2-3 coats of concrete sealer prior to putting it out for the next season for added protection and to keep it looking new.

HOW ARE THESE MADE? The process begins with the selection of "The Perfect" leaf to be cast. A mold for the leaf is formed from a pile of wet sand. The leaf is placed over the sand with the veins up. Concrete is mixed and pressed over the entire leaf. After the concrete has dried, the leaf is removed and the vein impression remains. The unveiling of the casting is always an exciting moment. The leaf used is then discarded, only one casting can be made from a leaf.
It is then allowed to cured, "cleaned up", painted and sealed with concrete sealer.
