H G Wells antique 1930s book set published c1935 by Odhams Press Ltd. This is a rare antique set of 7 red hardback books with 2 or 3 H G Wells novels in each. These decorative books have a portrait of Wells on the front and an Art Deco pattern around the edge of the front covers.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a fan of the author to have 14 titles in 7 antique volumes which would look well on your book shelf at home.
The books are in acceptable condition. This is a well worn antique set with some signs of previous use and age wear including fading to the spines, tanning/foxing to end pages and splitting of end papers (although all the books are intact and good reading copies), marking to covers.
