This bead represents The Temple of Athena Nike which is a temple on The Acropolis of Athens, built between 427 and 424 BC. Nike means victory in Greek, and Athena was worshipped in this form, as goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, just warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts and skills. Athena Nike is not to be confused with the goddess Nike of Samothrace.
