Vintage "Made store In Calif USA #173" Octagon Indoor Planter

This classic pottery piece was made in California during the state's heydey of California potters. A nice deep octagon/8 sided planter in avocado green with an inlaid embellishment on the front of piece. store This planter has no manufacturer's marks and was most likely made in one of the many pottery collectives of the day, circa 1945-1960. Marked "Made in California USA 173" on bottom.

Dimensions: 10.25"W x 3.5"H x 4.0"D

Condition: Excellent. No chips, scratches or crazing. A few minor areas of pitting and unglazed pottery marks. From the estate of the original owner who kept the piece in excellent condition. Hand wash and airy dry. Wear consistent with vintage age of piece.
