This is an appealing vintage sterling silver bracelet by Danecraft, circa 1950's
The bracelet consists of five panels embossed with highly detailed Scottish thistle designs. The store panels are connected by strong and secure ribbed links.
The thistle is the national emblem of Scotland.
On the inside of the bracelet there is an oval plaque marked 'Danecraft', 'Reg.'d', 'Sterling', and a lion's head within the letter 'C' (the Canadian national mark for sterling silver between 1934 and 1978). This mark implies that the bracelet was made for the Canadian market and retailed in that country (possibly by Birks).
The bracelet measures 20 cm in length (8 inches) and is 2.3 cm wide at its widest point (0.9 inches). Secure hook fastener
Weight - 31.5g
Very vintage condition, with beautifully aged patina (which could be polished off if preferred).
A gift box will be included
