Vintage 10" doll with a "Low Brow" china head and stuffed cloth body with porcelain forearms. She has painted blue eyes, light brown eyebrows and rosy cheeks and lips. Her molded blonde painted hair is parted down the middle with waves. Her lower legs are porcelain and painted with blue bows and pink shoes. If she is marked on her shoulder plate it is covered by her cloth body, but she is most likely German made.
Her body is stuffed tightly and covered with hand stitched cotton. Her handmade clothing includes ivory cotton pantaloons, hemmed with tucks and lace, and closing with a button at the back. There is a tiny square patch at the front. She has a full ivory cotton slip which matches her pantaloons and closes at the back with store snaps. Her dress is dark aqua velveteen embellished with lace and closing at the back with snaps, with tiny white beads giving the impression of tiny pearl buttons.
This is a lovely older china head doll for your collection.
