The late 1950s to mid-1970s he was a screenwriter for cinema and later as an author for radio and tv. But the activity of cartoonist was never completely abandoned: it was in the 1969/70s in fact that La Lupa, his most famous work, and parodies of the characters of ancient Rome were created.
