~ This piece was inspired by a feeling that the heart of the world is opening up, vibrating, fractally, expanding high and low, back and forth through space and time. We are a rainbow of spirits, one collective organism learning to come together, to harmonize with our planet, and to connect our galactic ancestors. The alien language design behind the rainbow flower spiral is inspired by a recent art exhibit I went to of ceramic instruments and sculptures from the Mayan Underworld. Only one of the sculptures had a design like this, but it struck me deep. A wise, strong elder sitting, with this circuit-like design laid in tiny detail on his forehead. The marking struck me as some ancient galactic language. I tapped into it and let the universe speak this language through me intuitively as I drew it on the tapestry.
