Antique French architectural newel post staircase finial , made of enameled iron in a cream tone on a bronze base
Early 1900s, art deco period

Called "boule d'escalier" in French

Sizes: 5.6 inches high (14cm) and 2.2 inches in diameter on the bottom (5.5cm)

In a vintage condition, as shown on the pictures: this finial has a several tiny pits and some chips to the enamel, the bronze shows some wear as well, this does not detract from the beauty of this topper, it is solid and good, still ready for use!

This stair ball has a great look and would fit in any home decor style

You can screw it onto your staircase, see the interior

Would also make a great paper weight for exemple
