Such a beautiful suit that needs some TLC...but is sooo Betty Grable

Super fantastic late 40s Brown Check plaid suit by The Marston Company of San Diego. Lovely dolman sleeved and nipped waist and flared jacket with a crazy detailed shoulder waterfall fabric cascade and a high waist notched skirt with a matching cascade on the hip. This is beautiful fabric and a wonderful fit.

There are some small areas of fabric loss due to moth bits but all but 1 area is covered when worn.There are tiny little pinhead sized clusters of moth bites on the inside sleeve of the jacket, 1 spot, and two areas on the skirt. one near the top of waist and one along the bottom hem. all but one are hidden when the suit is worn. Please refer store to pictures included.

Modern size Medium, but please follow the measurements below to ensure a proper fit

Jacket:
soft seamless shoulders at about 16"
bust up to 36, maybe 38
waist up to 28, tight 29
total length of 23
sleeve at 24

Skirt:
waist up to 28, tight 29
hip up to 38"
length at 34"

Condition: Fair to Good. This can be worn but may be a good project for darning the small areas of loss. Both the jacket and skirt can be worn separately with coordinating sweater or pants.
