18x24" Christmas Oil Painting store with Cabin and lit up Xmas Trees by Paint with Josh Artist Josh Kirkham

Hi and Welcome to this gorgeous Christmas scene! It was painted on 18x24" Black Canvas with just a few colors and turned out amazingly!

Starting with blue, I covered the canvas in different areas. Then using mainly white paint, created the sky. The white blends with the blue under layer creating 100's of shades of beautiful blues. The full moon is store one of my favorite parts. It's the first place I look.

Next came the forest behind the cabin and the two Xmas trees. Then I added the Cabin, then the Xmas tree and Cabin Lights, and finally the Reflections in the dark water at the bottom.

I'm in love with how this one came out and it will look fantastic on your wall!
