Hand built cermic store box.

Raku fired, hand built peices. These are the first in a series of ornamental vessels where I am working intuitively in building and shaping stoneware clay, starting with only a basic idea of the end result. I prefer the absence of machanised equipment and the serendipitous nature of raku firing, using home made glazes in a raku kiln I have made from an old oil drum. The result is that each peice has a more organic look with it's own unique character.
