Stunning and Beautiful Sweden Scandinavian Art Glass Abstract Modern Glass Block Sculpture. Strombergshyttan, Sweden Blue Art Glass Sculpture with Mountains and an Etched Bear on an Ice Shelf. Large, Heavy and Thick Blue Glass with a Silver Hue. Hand made Scandinavian Art Glass with beveled edges for safety. Great visual texture. Has the original Strombergshyttan Sweden sticker on the side and Engraved under the foot with Strombergshyttan Sweden 7 221 C 1057. (I am not sure about the 7 after Sweden, it may be a 1 or an l or somthing else.) Strombergshyttan made art glass and vases from 1933 to 1979 when it closed. This piece appears to be from the store 1960s or 1970s. Sweden. Approx. 8.5" Long X 5” Tall X 2" Deep. Weighs over 5.7 pounds. Excellent previously owned vintage condition. I did not see signs of wear or age worthy of note. See the photos.
