This soft drapable fabric is made of a modern Blend of Acrylic and Merino Wool Fibers which provides warmth without being heavy and its high moisture-wicking abilities make it comfortable to wear in any weather. Lightweight, super soft, and warm, this wool-blend has a luxurious appearance and looks stylish, while feeling warm and cozy.

The cable pattern stands for a fisherman's ropes and represents the wish for safety and good fortune at sea. The zig-zag pattern represents the winding Aran Islands rocky roads and symbolizes faith. The Aran knitting patterns are full of rich meaning and dramatic narrative. Many of them are inspired by the Celtic knotwork pattern.
