White Porcelain Cluster Cocktail Ring, Primrose Flower store Ring

A stunning handmade statement ring with delicate primrose flower in white or gray porcelain .

Each ring is carefully crafted by hand. Left unglazed which gives a wonderful, satin matte surface . Fired at a very high temperature (1250 degree!) to ensure they are robust.
Each ring is treated uniquely so will vary slightly in appearance.

All our porcelain pieces are made from parian porcelain , immaculate white clay , self glazing with a satin matte finish when high fired .

This porcelain was developed in England in the early 1840s. The porcelain body was made to have a resemblance to marble and named 'Parian' in reference to the fine white marble from the Greek Island of Paros .

Parian body have a higher proportion of feldspar which gives a more vitrified finish to the surface and translucency to the body . This porcelain body is close to marble in effect and gives a quiet elegance to our pieces .
