Antique Oscar Schaller Orange Lustre Ware Teapot, Creamer and Covered Sugar store Bowl - Bavaria, Germany
Up for sale are a porcelain teapot, creamer and covered sugar bowl made by Oscar Schaller & Co. made in Bavaria, Germany. This pattern features gold lined tan stripes on an orange lustre background - all trimmed in gold. The back store stamp was in use between 1909 and 1918.
The teapot stands 4 1/2 inches tall and is 8 3/8 inches wide from handle to spout. It holds 4 cups.
The creamer stands 3 inches tall and is 4 5/8 inches wide from handle to spout.
The double handled sugar bowl stands 3 inches tall and is 5 1/2 inches wide from handle to handle.
The set is in good antique condition. There is a chip on the underside of the teapot lid as seen in the photos. There are some scratches in the gilt paint on the handles of all 3 pieces. There are no cracks, staining or crazing.
