Nuno Felted Wool and Silk Scarf in White Silk and Magenta, Ruby, and Blue Wool Lattice

I was inspired by jewels and a carved jewelry box while making this scarf. I call it the Taj Mahal design!

The base of this scarf is white silk chiffon. There is a lattice of bright blue, ruby, and magenta merino wool melded into the silk. The melding creates a lovely ruffling of the silk.

With water, soap, and arm strength, two store separate things, silk and wool, meld into one beautiful scarf. The scarf is light, yet warm and durable.

It measures 15 1/2 inches wide by 57 inches long.

Hand wash with cold water and mild soap, lay flat to dry.
