Represents Fortuna, the winged goddess with the horn of abundance giving gifts to men. In the cult of Fortuna (or Tyche) the motives of destiny and fertility were linked together. The famous sanctuary dedicated to Fortuna was located in Preneste (the current Palestrina) to which the whole population of Lazio flowed to ask for answers about their future.
It is often depicted with cornucopia, which is the emblem of wealth and fertility. The goddess was responsible for the fate of the Romans.
