A twist on the original granddad shirt that combines elegance with informality. Features a breast pocket and buttoned cuffs and detailed stitching in contrasting colour. Made with medium weight weave pure nettle. From our own 'Hempcat' label.

The fabric is a luxurious and breathable narrow weave nettle, also known as ramie. Ramie is a high quality nettle fabric, part of the same family as hemp and linen; it's known for keeping its shape well and having anti-bacterial properties as well as being hard wearing. Initially clothing of ramie will feel slightly stiff but within a day of wearing the weave will already loosen up and the fabric look more “relaxed”. It doesn't hold creases like linen and is probably one of the most rugged yet soft fabrics you'll ever wear!

All Hempcat garments are made in small tailoring workshops in Yunnan, a traditional area of Southwest China.

If an item which is purchased is the wrong size for you, unless the mistake is in the size charts or the piece is not sized according to the size chart, that is, it is a customer error, we will refund you the cost on return of the item minus the store postage. We would then request you to place a new order for the correct size. Of course if anything you receive from us is not as described or damaged in any way, that is a fault of our own, in which case we will provide a full refund on receipt of the returned item and send out a replacement to you with no additional costs.

For all our customers in the UK we offer free shipping, but in the event of a returned item to be replaced, we will ask you to pay the cost of sending the replacement out to you, unless the return was due to a fault of ours, in which case we are fully liable for all these costs.
