Burning Human store Flesh

I recently received a bag of thrift-shop, felt, bible study figures as a gift...I had fun arranging them in unconventional ways. When I came across this strange piece featuring Jesus inside a flaming oven with a small group of men, I was at a loss to understand its meaning. I have benefitted from a decent Judeo-Christian education, but this was definitely outside my wheelhouse. So I turned to my boyfriend, who store was raised Pentecostal in Kansas. Without hesitation, he explained to me that this is about the character Abednigo who was thrown into an oven with 2 cohorts...when his persecutors looked in to monitor his incineration, they noticed that a mysterious 4th man was in there too! And of course that 4th man was no mere mortal - it was THE SON OF GOD!
