Carters Fountain Pen Ink store Bottle and Container

This Carters ink bottle has a bright intact label and stands 3 1/2” high. The rubber stopper has dried out and is warped. The glass is hand blown and the base reads Carters Made in USA No. 517. The wonderful wooden container is stained reddish brown and is in two threaded parts. The container is 4 1/4” high. I'm unsure if the bottle and wooden container were sold together or just became a happy marriage at some point. Still a great combination for the desk accessory collector. store
