store REDUCED! This is a very vintage traditional Tetsubin cast iron teapot - hand crafted with classic relief design. The Teapot is stamped 鉄素の逸品 which translates to 'A GEM OF IRON' (see photos).

Nambu Tekki (traditional Japanese cast ironwork) is hand-made, heat-retaining, strong cast iron traditional construction that lasts for posterity. Teapot is also stovetop safe - withstands high heat to keep tea at the perfect temperature.

The Enamel coated interior of this teapot is in great shape for a perfect tea for many years to come - includes two beautiful cast iron Japanese Tea cups. Traditional Sakura blossom design on lid.

I brought a few of these while working in Japan and have a small collection.
