High quality 1940s-50s era Japanese Satsuma/Moriage Two (2) 1700s Figurines plus three (3) Incense Burners or Vases This entire group is in excellent clean condition throughout, with no chips or cracks. The paint has rubbed away in a couple of places, but it's not noticeable. If you look inside the incense burners, it looks like they were used for that purpose at least once -- see photos. The figurines depict mid-1700s French/quasi-Fragonard, and are each 5" tall. The detail is pretty amazing -- even the dainty figurines' feet are 3D. The three incense burners range from 3" to 5 1/2" tall. They were all made in Japan, from post-WWII through the 1950s, according to original owner. (He didn't claim they are 'Occupied Japan' products, however.) store.
