This is a beautiful antique (over 100 years old) Nippon dish. It is hand painted in classic deep blues and rose store pink, with 14K gold detail and trim. The mark on the underside indicates that it was made by the TE-OH China Company of Japan - in business from 1891 to 1921. It's a very fine, thin porcelain, somewhat transparent when held up to the light. It is footed, and measures 5 1/2" across, and 1 1/2" deep. It's in excellent condition; no chips, cracks or crazing. It could be an unusual and thoughtful house warming gift for an antique or vintage collector. Thanks for looking!
