Hand crafted with love and celebration of the Halloween season by owner of DianaRoldanCeramics.

Hand crafted out of stoneware clay, this burner is brought to life through slab built techniques of padding, hand sculpting, shaping and carving. Each with their own gleeful facial expressions, have twisted leafed vines that curve and hug the unique shape of the pumpkin. Adorned on the top leaf shaped dish is a hand sculpted spider. The burner has an attached base with back opening for tea light entry placement. The top dish is attached and for use as a well to hold wax and or oil essentials as aromatherapy.

Prior to the first bisque firing, during the greenware store stage, layers of underglaze are hand painted and blended for achieve a vibrant orange pumpkin hue. after the first bisque firing, the piece is sanded and rinsed to then receives a wash of black underglaze applied then wiped away for a vintage look. The final and third glaze firing process requires a combination of lead free high fire glazes to the inside of the burner and to the top burner dish.

*each burner purchase comes with care instructions, a tea light and a sample wax melt. The sample wax melts are from small businesses I have purchased from and used.

*This ceramic wax/oil burner was made using stoneware clay to assure its strength and stability. Even so it is recommended to handle any ceramic work with care and hand wash when needed.

***Must be used on a flat fire resistant surface. Always be in attendance when using your wax/oil burner. Do not touch the wax burner when in use and the tea light is on. The ceramic piece will conduct heat from the tea light and will be very hot to touch. This wax/oil burner is designed to be used with a small standard 4hr tea light. Using any larger sized tea light may crack and or burn the ceramic.
