Vintage sterling silver store station necklace, long silver and enamel cable chain necklace, Italian jewellery

A stunning long vintage station chain necklace. The necklace is in sterling silver cable chain, with seven cylindrical sterling silver beads. Each of the beads has two blue enamel bands.

The necklace is Italian and is stamped AR 111 in the Italian manner. 111 is the number for the silversmith, probably a firm named Mori and Pasquini, no longer in existance. The AR refers to the province, in this case Arezzo. The necklace is also stamped 925 for sterling silver.

The necklace is in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The spring clasp fastens securely.

The necklace is about 84.5 cm long and weighs about 30 grams. The cylindrical beads are about 1.7 cm long.
