This image is of lower Meeting Street (54) and was used as a fundraiser for "Hands Across America"
in 1985.

The Timothy Ford house at 54 Meeting Street with a side piazza circa 1800-1806. Raising
their family here, the Fords entertained the Marquis de Lafayette in the house in 1824 during
his triumphal revisit to the United States. Ford's daughter Louisa married Dr. Edmund Ravenel,
a physician and pioneering American conchologist. On the interior it retains extravagant Neoclassical woodwork in its first- and second-floor rooms.
