MATERIAL: Natural untreated MONTEBRASITE.. Named after its first known locality in MONTEBRAS, Mine Boussac Creuse Limousin, France. Montebrasite occurs mainly in granite pegmatite of the lithium- and phosphate-rich type. Faceted Montebrasite belongs to the group of the rarest and most valued gems on store face of this earth. This gem represents a valued addition to any gemstone collection. Guaranteed to be natural and untreated.


ORIGIN: Minas Gerais, Brazil, South America. The only source known of this extremely rare Montebrasite. The mine is no longer producing ANY gem rough and prices of this rare gem will continue to rise over many years to come.
