Amber Colored Glass Jeweler or Barber Alcohol Lamp, Jeweler Lamp, Barber Alcohol Lamp store

This alcohol lamp was used by jewelers and barbers mainly for singeing. This lamp is missing the nickel plated brass stand that came with these lamps. This one is made of amber glass and if you look at the pictures carefully it seems to have been made from three pieces of store glass. There are two patent dates on the bottle, March 14, 1893 and Sept. 14, 1880. This one was used as you can see the black soot inside the glass. The top is very tight and I can not loosen it and I did not want to force it for fear of breaking the glass. The tip is tarnished but other than that it is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
