Roman Era Red Twisted Bracelet store Fragments and Gold Sandwich Beads

This necklace is made with fragments of Roman Era glass bracelets that have been refashioned store into beads. The small gold beads are often called “sandwich” beads because they are made by placing a layer of gold foil between layers of glass to construct the bead. These are quite rare and beautiful.
