Such sweet and dainty bone china plates,by Royal Doulton! These plates, which are a series of four plates, are in their Wind in the Willows range. Add all four to your Wind in the Willows Collection!

Each plate is in a highly polished, shiny white glaze. The plates show very detailed scenes, featuring several of the famous characters from the book, enjoying various activities. The illustrations are true to the originals. They have a charming, swagged edge, in green, with butterflies and raised scrolling along the wavy edge of the plate. The makers mark and description of the plate is clearly marked on the base.

The plates are in very store good condition. May be some very light surface marks, only visible on close inspection.

They measure 20.5cm, or 8 inches, across.
