This rare antique French Jesus of Prague medallion is truly exquisite. The medallion is composed of hallmarked silver and features an ornate depiction of The Holy Child Jesus in the center of a Maltese cross. He is bordered in the center by the invocation "Saint Enfant Jesus, Benissez Nous" (Holy Child Jesus, Bless Us). The ends of the cross are marked with "ET VERBUM CARO FACTUM EST" (AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH). The reverse side store of the cross has "IHS" in the center and the ends of the cross are marked with "Vive Rex Sum Ego Jesus ART Ave Maria" (Long live the King, I am Jesus, Hail Mary). The letters "A.R.T." translate to "ADVENIAT REGNUUM TUUM" (May Your Kingdom come).
