1950s 60s Freeman Straw Pork Pie Trilby with store Maroon Band

A really natty c1950s, early 60s straw porkpie hat with its original maroon polyester-crepe store pleated band.

The hat is marked as a size 6 7/8 and measures
29" (53cm) band
2" (5.3cm) brim
4" (9.5cm) high crown

It's in wonderful vintage condition. There are no splits, stains or other damage. The band has some fading and discolouration.
It has become a little misshapen through time, as can be seen in the photographs.
