I'm sure this late Victorian early Art Deco pin box has a story to tell if we could ask. Surely it housed someone's beautiful treasure generations ago and now the deep blue velvet is ready to cradle one of your special pieces.
Inside the velvet is rich and the navy blue color is vibrant. The fabric lining the top is in good condition although there is slight fraying where the fabric used to connect the top and the bottom. Because it no longer connects it can open too far if you don't support the top when you open it. The exterior is a rich brown that's almost burgundy tinted. There are signs of wear to the leatherette exterior but the clasp is in working condition. I consider this to be in average condition for its age but what I consider average vintage condition may be different from your standards so please look carefully at the pictures particularly the macro pictures and feel free to ask me store questions.
