Sweetly Spectacular Signed Vtg. ENGLISH store 1940's Bone China 1-Handled Pitcher/VASE w/Hand Painted Flowers & 25 Hand Made Flowers

Utterly charming and in MINT VINTAGE CONDITION, this Circa 1940's ENGLISH BONE CHINA piece was originally intended for use as a creamer or small pitcher and has now been conscripted into a vase that holds over 25 hand made gorgeous flowers.

The signature on the creamer/vase is still quite clear (see last photo): it says "Bone China. Roslyn. Made in England. Lilleshall."

With a height of 3 1/4" (without flowers) and a width (from spout to lovely curved handle) of 4," when you add the beautiful flowers to this belle, it rises to a height of a little over 5."

HAND PAINTED on the front AND back are a beautiful, sweet, beguiling bunch of flowers: purples and yellows with green leaves. There is also a blue-gray flourishy border underneath a line that goes all around the piece. This line is done in 24K GOLD GILT PAINT. Above this line is a thick border of gray and white store flourishes and flowers that also travels the circumference of the piece.

The very bottom of this charming lassie has a thicker 24K GOLD GILT PAINT border and the sides and edges of the lovely, artistic handle also carry 24K gold gilt paint. There is additionally a thick line of gold gilt on the handle's middle.

The condition is phenomenal - MINT - for a vintage item from the 1940's. I see no crazing, chips, cracks, nicks or mars. It is elegant and the sweetest thing ever.

I have attempted to show all different views of both the piece and flowers: front, side, back, top of this marvelous, unique and most certainly ONE OF A KIND belle. The second to last last photo shows the incomparable "view from the top."

NO TWO FLOWERS ARE ALIKE, and THE OVER TWENTY-FIVE (25) are all stacked and have multiple levels that are opalescent, filigreed, acrylic, woven celluloid, bronze, 14K gold, filigree in bronze, brass and gold, enamel, painted enamel and metal and crystal.

The flowers themselves are made of various, almost ALL VINTAGE, substances: GLASS, vintage detailed gold, gold plate, crystal, ENAMEL, bronze, patina, painted metal, acrylic, woven celluloid, brass, SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL, vintage Japanese sugar beads, genuine deep green JADE, faceted crystals, genuine dark and genuine light AMETHYST GEMSTONES, Murano beads, lavender JADE (genuine), acrylic, genuine CITRINE and various filigrees.

In addition, there are some DIAMENTE, faceted stick pins in complimentary colors, many with bead caps and some vintage stick pins with pearlized tops.

This is a ONE OF A KIND constellation of beauty: a startlingly glorious bouquet that glistens madly and picks up light with abandon.

Not only beautiful but versatile, this delightful lassie would look good and bring life just about anywhere and would work as a shelf sitter, a focal point, a centerpiece, etc.
