Complete set of 4 hand-painted Lefton teacups store and snack / dessert / lunch plates from the 50's; pattern 2108

This charming set is a little more on the whimsical side of Lefton pieces in general. It has pretty pastel colors inside each cup, with matching colors for store each plate where the cup goes, and rose florals that are designed to complement the color of each cup. The pallet shape on the plates adds both interest and practicality. It is where you place your hand so your thumb goes over the top, making it is far more comfortable to hold. Pastels like this always make me think of spring, Easter, and cottage gardens - which is probably why I have a lot of pastels in my home. :)

Each cup is 3 5/8" wide without the handle (4 5/8" with handle), and 2 1/4" high.
Plates measure 8 1/4" in diameter

This set is in lovely vintage condition - I saw no cracks, chipping, or crazing, but please check pictures for final reference. I also note that the green does not show up as well in some of the pictures, but it is really a lovely soft sage-y color green.
