This is a gold tone compact made by Rho-Jan back in the 1950s or 1940s. The puff inside is marked, Rho-Jan.
The outside is in good shape. The gold tone still has that brushed look. I see some surface scratches on the front and back, but not too much. On the back is a slight dimple dent which I try to show in the pictures. The front has a few too which y9u can see in the right light.
On the front is the genie. All rhinestones are present and in good shape.
It opens and closes nicely. Inside the mirror is in tact. I don't see much evidence of clouding and this mirror is not cracked. It's a bit dusty from the powder inside.
The original puff, screen, and powder remnants remain.
It measures 3.5 inches around. This one is in good condition for its age.
