This is an original one-sheet for Robert Altman's A WEDDING from 1978. Folded. The poster is in very good condition. Does not appear to have been hung. No pin holes.

This poster was signed by Robert Altman, at the opening night of store the opera (!) in Chicago.

These posters were sent to theaters who booked the movie, and were used to advertise the film. The vast majority measure 27”x41” exactly. If the measurements are different, they will be noted. (Inserts and half-sheets are different sizes.)

Movie posters were generally folded prior to 1980, then they started to be rolled. It's common for a film before 1980 to be folded. These folds can be completely hidden if the poster is linen-mounted. You can certainly have it heat-mounted as well, which would also remove all folds. However, heat-mounting also renders the poster valueless. Linen-mounting is a completely reversible process, and has become the collector standard for preservation.

C.O.A.? Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, can print out and sign a certificate of authenticity. Unless it's from a reputable professional authentication service, it's not worth a darn. My posters are all 100% guaranteed to be original. That's better than any C.O.A.
