Vintage Los Castillo letter E pendant. Acquired from a private estate collection, this rare monogram pendant features inlay of azurite store and malachite with a loopy initial design in center. The inlaid blue and green stone is set in a thick and solid sterling silver mount. Signed on back with the following: Los Castillo Taxco hallmark, Mosaico Azteca, Hecho en Mexico, 133 inventory number. The Mosaico Azteca collection was created from the 1950s through the 1960s to honor traditional Aztec techniques including hand-forging and gemstone inlay. Perfect for hanging on a necklace chain. 1.25” length and 1.1” width. Excellent pre-owned condition.
