Here is a lovely vintage Midcentury pastel drawing/painting. It depicts a pretty young blond girl/woman in powder pink. She has shorter chic blond hair and green eyes. The background is a lavender color. The artist was very talented as it is extremely well done. The art is framed in its original gold wood frame under glass. It has a matting around the edges and is signed Jeanette Finch. On the back it appears someone wrote the subject's name. store Gayle Venters 1955. The art is in good/very good vintage condition. It would be a prudent idea to take this to your local framer and have them take it out, clean the glass and mount it in acid free foam board to preserve it. You could even change the matting to a lavender or pink or stark white if you like. This measures 18 1/4 x 23 1/2 in. This stylish girl reminds me of a young Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn. She has that type of beauty.
