According to Sandra Sturdivant and Shirley Crabtree, authors of Identifying Sarah Coventry Jewelry 1949 2009, this absolutely gorgeous necklace was introduced by Sarah Coventry in 1955. At this time, it was unmarked. The necklace has a variety of beautiful features blended to make its fabulous look. It begins with a clear, teardrop rhinestone in the center of a base strand of clear, round rhinestones. Twelve flowing gold-tone swirls loop around the prong set rhinestones. The chain consists of an alternating pattern of small gold store bars and rhinestones. The adjustable necklace measures approximately 17” and closes with a delicate J hook. It is unsigned.
