18x24" Cold Winter Landscape Oil Painting with Cabin, Fence, and Xmas Trees by Paint with Josh Artist Josh Kirkham store

Hi and Welcome to this gorgeous Christmas scene! It was painted on 18x24" Black Canvas with just a few colors and turned out amazingly!

Starting with blue and Phthalo Green, I covered the canvas in different areas. Then using mainly white paint, created the sky. The white blends with the blue and green under layer creating 100's of shades of beautiful colors. The full moon is one of my favorite parts. It's the first place I look.

Next came the forest behind the cabin and the two evergreen trees. Then I added the Cabin, fence, path, bushes, and then the evergreen tree, and finally the store Reflections in the dark water at the bottom.

I'm in love with how this one came out and it will look fantastic on your wall!
